A Tender Loving Seed
I want to thank my precious
Lil Sis from the bottom of my heart for this beautiful poem.
I am deeply touched and honored by her thoughts and by being included in this with a wonderful
web mistress like Judy and a prayer waryer like Sue. Please visit Norma's site to read more of her
inspiring poems and leave some words of encouragement in her Guestbook as she
recovers from surgery for lung cancer. My sincere thanks also to my dear friend and teacher Lady Madona
for the special page set for this poem. I love you both!
It is written
that God sends us angels,
To carry
us in our times of darkest need.
And in the
souls of three mortals here,
He planted
in their hearts an angel seed.
The ones
He sent to me from heaven,
I did not
see them around my bed.
But come
they did from His throne,
And out of
darkness I was safely led.
Then came
the time for my return home,
And wait
for my ravaged body to mend.
That’s when
He gave me earthly angels,
To me three
living people He did send.
First He
sent a group of prayer waryers,
With a faithful
lady by the name of Sue.
Yes, Lord, I needed many, many prayers,
So I know
she was an angel sent by You.
Second God
sent me Judy my dear angel who,
Fulfilled
a dream I’d had for several years.
She made
me a site so I could tell of Your glory,
To help wipe
away grief and a few people’s tears.
Third is
Marilyn an angel placed firmly in my heart,
My Lord knows
what I need while I am on this land.
Today she
sent me twelve of God’s glorious creations,
Scented sweet
and of colors made by His holy hand.
Of all the
people that I know who are near me each day,
These three
angels are the ones that God sent my way.
Why these
certain people He gave me as angels I don’t know,
But God has
a reason for every angel seed He decides to sow.
Marilyn is
an angel who brightens each day I live.
Thank You
God for this angel You decided to give.
Her heart
is as big as a mountain oh so high,
I love her,
Lord, and will always keep her nearby.

Dedicated
to Marilyn..a friend God sent to me
No heart
could be sweeter and more loving.
