Missing Children

Are you tired of turning on your TV only to hear on the news
that another child has been abducted and/or killed? I know
I am! These precious little ones have enough storms in their
lives without having to face the fear of a parent coming in
angry and killing it, or the fear of even going outdoors to
play lest some predator come along to snatch them. They not
only have to worry about the school yard bully but now there
are the internet bullies too. It seems to me that there is not
much being done for the citizens in this country in the way of
safety, jobs, education, health care, etc. We hear how there is
no money for education - schools are closing, classes packed
with too many students, benefits cut for teachers, teachers having
to take a second job because their husbands' jobs were out-sourced,
etc. We have a first lady who took 20 million dollars overseas
to educate women there but no equal amount for women here who
would like to go to college but cannot afford to do so. We have
millions of illegals who have come into this country and are
taking jobs from us and forcing hospitals to close because of
lack of funds. We have an army overseas risking their lives to
protect people there while we release predators to once again
molest and kill our little ones simply because the prisons are
too overcrowded! We have billions to spend on space exploration
but a little drop in the bucket to protect and educate our
children. I personally think we need to get our priorities in order.

DID YOU KNOW THAT......

About 800,000 individuals are reported missing in the US each year.

Of these, 84-90 percent are juveniles - about 2000 missing
children daily.

200-300 of these are abducted by a stranger.

Out-of-the-home abductions occur 45-65 times yearly.

90 percent of children criminally abducted who are going to
be killed are killed within 36 hours.

75 percent of those killed after an abduction are killed within the first 3 hours.

MISSING CHILDREN - This is just a very few of the children who
are reported missing daily! I'm sure you will recognize some of
these names. If you are a parent, please check the list of
predators in your area! Demand stiffer sentences for the
offenders! It amazes me that a "vicious" dog that bites anyone
is condemed to death but the person who abducts, rapes and/or
kills a child can serve a few years and be released because of
overcrowded jails!
