Just Green

Look out the nearest window
Lean on the window pane
And soak in all
the green
You see out on the plain
Just study all the color
All its depth, its every hue
How many greens
can you find
And which one is the true.
Is it the green
of the tiny clover
The green
of the sparkly sea
The green
of the grassy knoll
Or the green
of the majestic tree.

Imagine it was all the one
Just one plain shade of green
Would the panorama
bring us pleasure
In all that can be seen.
Imagine if we were all the same,
One color, one thought, or nose,
Which would be
the best to choose?
As if anybody knows.
I think God created our colorful world
With all its different places
Character, culture
and diversity,
So we could know His many faces.
