The song you hear is Just A Closer

I would like to give a special thanks to the lady who was
kind enough to scan these pictures for these pages. She didn't
just scan them but she took the time and effort also to make
the beautiful border and frames for them - she never, ever does

all your help, inspiration and teaching this "ol dog" some new tricks.
This is the bank in the front of our home with the dusty
miller being the most prominent plant. There are also some
miniature roses, lamb's ear, and a few day lilies.St. Francis
is so kindly holding a little water for our bird visitors.
This is the driveway side of the house with two old crows
standing guard over the purple and white cone flowers,
otherwise known as Echinacea which provides a great natural
remedy for flu .
These are some pink, white and deep rose peonies which we
transplanted from our parents' home when we moved here.
This is a golden chain tree which was a house warming gift
from Mary Moles, my sister's supervisor at Blue Cross.
These are just a few of the irises that I have received from
several kind friends over a period of many years. Many of these
were also transplanted from our childhood home.
