To honor the symbol of our nation

Is to stir the heart with emotion--

Flag Day will be a star-studded day

Revered in a star-spangled, high flying way.

When America's flag is flown

It will be known

That America is vibrant and alive!

As we view her unfurled into the sky

Our hearts will swell with pride.

Red, white and blue--

The flag made for ME and YOU.

Red stripes, white stripes--all thirteen

With a blue field and fifty stars can be seen.

The three colors represent our firm resolve

To protect life, freedoms, rights and privileges
by becoming involved.

The flag leads our battles

And stands proudly on the surface of the moon!

Arriving very soon

Is a special day to show respect

And on its meaning to reflect...
