While I was browsing around the net looking for one
thing, as often happens, my train got derailed when I
came across a link to a wonderful sight called "Children
of the Inner Light"®. Here you will find a wonderful array
of adorable gifts for anyone for any occasion. While you
are purchasing these gifts, you are also helping with
cancer research! Stop by and place an order with Marcie;
I know you won't regret it.
I always tried to teach my students, and my sister and I have
taught Mattie, my little great-niece, that true beauty comes not
from the outside but from within the individual - from the heart!
It doesn't matter how beautiful a person is - if he/she is rude,
crude and generally obnoxious, there is no true beauty. My sister
also taught Matttie when she was just a little girl that people
were like God's flowers - that they come in all sizes, shapes,
and colors. She also taught her that people, like flowers and
even weeds have different purposes!
Children of the Inner Light
"Children of the Inner Light"® designs are about our
relations to each other in the world, and our deep
connections to each other as human beings.
As we look beyond the exterior, acknowledging that
we are much more than the physical and seek the
"inner light", we will not allow our differences to
divide us. We will have a greater chance of
moving toward peace - in our homes, our
schools, communities and the world.
Children of the Inner Light"® knows no color, ethnic
or cultural denominations. "Children of the Inner
Light"® does not recognize disabilities, but prefers
to focus instead on the abilities and uniqueness of
each individual.
Remember always that the spirit provides us with
endless opportunities to connect with each other
and to experience unconditional love.
