Marketing children in half naked and suggestive images to sell cars, liquor, lifestyle - is a norm in our consumer culture.

Young women/girls are also used to market clothing - and now young men.

If we continue to link sex and youth - we will have the result of sex/power and totally change the nature of intimacy in America.

Swingers, nudists, pedophiles, adulterers.... this is about power. It is not about sex.

If we continue to allow billboards, commercials, tv shows, and the internet to intrude on people's thoughts/minds and allow for a cultural acceptance of abusing sexuality - then we might as well accept that children are sex toys - just as women have been objectified as trophies by the likes of Hefner.

The real threat is in our abuse of sexuality to sell things or to exchange power "between consenting adults". This is the root of the evil and damage that is being done to those innocent enough to not be aware - or not smart enough to know how to avoid the danger.

Pass laws that make internet pornography of all kinds illegal. Jail those eggregious offenders such as the maker of "Girls Gone Wild" who would tarnish the youth of our country. Start programs in schools that would teach young girls and boys to avoid the child molesters like Foley and fire those who would use positions of leadership and power to take advantage of those in subservient positions.

Abuse of power is seen in many forms. Power corrupts - absolute power corrupts absolutely and for some... the power is an addiction that cannot be halted.

It is in America's best interest to face this problem, implement solutions, punish those who affect negatively others, and create awareness.
