Rain falls down so softly
As heaven's clouds deplete
Falling down upon the land
Life's cleansing now complete

Looking up within sky
I see a rainbow's glow
Such a grand sensation
The colors grand you know

Pot of gold I'm searching for
It's right there in the sky
No other treasure I will seek
Than what's before the eye

Colors born of greatest wealth
This myriad we see
Treasures of the universe
Belongs to you and me

Capture this within the heart
This sight that sets you free
Smile upon the earth no frown
This glory that will be

Look up till you see this gift
The rain will quench life's thirst
The colors of a rainbow there
By love you are immersed.

The Breathing Rainbows

For All The Children

Let the children dance and sing
In laughter... only innocence can bring
Let us stand back as we watch and learn
In their ultimate joy…
Of every little smiling girl and every happy boy

In an array of colors and nationalities
They paint the world with love
They are...
“The Breathing Rainbows”
Of this great big world

Filled with great promises and hopes
No language barriers, here
For children speak from their hearts
In words so plain and clear

Holding hands across the world
They smile at one another
They become as... One
In Gods' eyes… they are all sisters and brothers

They know not hate or prejudice
For it is sadly taught… in their later years
We could learn so much from them
In cleansing the world of its tears and fears

In their gentle words, of the greatest worth
If we would only stop and listen
Because I believe…
They are the great teachers of this earth

If we follow in that path of unconditional love
Just beyond the horizon… for them,
Could be that perfect day
As joy and love fills their every moment
Where past images of pain and war… can finally fade away
