God, you sent me a rainbow,
It spread across the sky
The colors were so vivid
And pleasing to the eye.
Of all Your many wonders
This one pleases me most
Because it came from You Lord
My heavenly host.
Tomorrow I may get sunshine
That will please me too.
But today You sent me a rainbow,
A gift to me from You
