I’m waiting for the moment God reaches out to me,
And tells me my time has come to face eternity.
What a glorious day I’ll have, when I leave this earth with Him,
Then I’ll know my cup of blessings is full right to its brim!
My affairs are all in order and I’ve lived in such a way,
All the ones that knew me will have nothing bad to say.
I’ve loved His every creation, from the biggest to the least,
Reaching from the sands of the west, to the mountains of the east.
I’ve seen the mighty waters of the oceans, lakes and streams,
And what He chose to give me fulfilled my worldly dreams.
The beauty I leave here will not be able to compare,
To the beauty and the peace that He will show me there.
Yes, I look forward to the time He calls and comes for me,
And tells me my time has come to face eternity!
